What Is Lifestyle Product Photography?

Unlike traditional white-background product shots, lifestyle photography shows your product being used, worn, or experienced in a real-life setting. It connects emotionally with your audience and communicates how your product fits into their life. These images perform exceptionally well on Instagram, Pinterest, Amazon listing galleries, and brand websites — anywhere you need to tell a visual story, not just show a product.

Our Process

Every lifestyle shoot starts with a creative brief — we work with you to understand your brand, target customer, and the platforms where images will be used. From there, our team handles prop sourcing, set design, model coordination (if needed), and art direction. You can be on set or trust us to execute your vision remotely. Final retouched images are delivered within 5 business days.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need to provide models or props?

No — we handle it. We source props, style sets, and coordinate models as needed based on your creative brief. If you have specific props or want to be involved in sourcing, that’s welcome too. We’re flexible and collaborative.

Can lifestyle images be used on Amazon?

Yes — Amazon allows lifestyle images in positions 2 through 9 of your listing gallery. Only the main (hero) image requires a pure white background. Lifestyle shots in your gallery can significantly increase click-through rates and conversions. Many clients book a combined package with both white-background and lifestyle images.

Do you shoot on location or only in studio?

Both. Our Brooklyn and West Hollywood studios are fully equipped for lifestyle sets. We also do location shoots across NYC and LA when the creative concept calls for it — parks, apartments, coffee shops, rooftops, and more. Contact us to discuss what setting best fits your brand.
